楚布寺净化香 (噶举-大宝法王）
Tsurphu Monastery Purification Incense (Karma Kagyu - 17th Karmapa)
A special incense made with main ingredient of Tsurphu holy plant, unique to Tsurphu Monastery. The plant grew in the holy hill of Tsurphu Monastery after Dusum Khyenpa, the 1st Karmapa's hair was spread on the hill. A plant that carries the energy of a great legendary bodhisattva is imbued with great blessings for purification and protection.
The incense was originally used only in the monastery for a century. The 17th Karmapa renamed it as Purification Incense to affirm the purification function of the incense and propels circulation for public usage to reach out to and benefit all.
